How it started
In 2006 Misan Logistics BV started their activities as a freight forwarding department within MISC Agencies Netherlands BV.
MISC Agencies Netherlands was a wholly owned subsidiary of the PETRONAS/MISC Group in Malaysia.
Freight Forwarding was set up to support Petronas Oil & Gas Project shipments and ship spares Logistics for the entire MISC fleet.
Apart from acting as an internal service provider,
Misan Logistics BV services include Project Cargo Management, Supply Chain Solutions, Freight Forwarding, Transportation, Distribution and Warehousing.
In October 2017 all activities were taken over by the current owner.
Since then, our office and warehouse are located in Schiedam, near Rotterdam Seaport and Amsterdam Airport.
In 2009 the decision was made MISC would withdraw from their liner activities.
This decision caused Misan Logistics BV came under the wings of MILS which was MISC’s forwarding business unit.
